Snap, I been hard at work researching our family tree and recently found out our family has roots in Clayton. My GGGG Gransfather James Cawthraw was born in Clayton 1/9/1800, maybe he knew William Cox ! Sadly he is not around to ask.
Have you had any luck with finding more information about the Cox family? I am considering making a trip up to Clayton and any information I can find out before hand would be very helpful as Clayton is a good few miles away from Berkshire.
