house building off the avenue in clayton

please sure support for objection to stop new build at top of avenue clayton  [/b]
NewDave

Not only will it spoil the views and the roads with the extra traffic and parking on clayton lane. If this build goes ahead it will give a green light to other contractors to buy up the remaining green space and fill with housing 'developments' in our already overcrowded village.

I agree, the village is already overstreched, you struggle to get a doctors apt and I have just tried to get my 4 yr old in to the dentist but they are totally full, so I have had to use one in town,

the traffic is already chaos on clayton lane as it is, and why do we need more flats?
they started to turn the school into flats but they were so expensive no one wanted them now its just half derelict, they have just built loads of flats on upper syke which are stupidly expensive and most of them are empty, also they are about to build flats in beck mill on reva syke rd

if they do build on the ave/clayton lane (which i hope they dont) then it should be a much smaller scale and priority given to young people who have been brought up here and are struggling to get on the property ladder.

this development should be more publicised so people can object if they want to, i have signed the petition and hope everyone else will too,
