does anyone remember me!!!hello there peeps!!
i left clayton in 1975 due to my dad getting another job which took us to east yorkshire, where i still reside to this day, with my husband of 28 years, a son who's 19, a daughter who's married and a beautiful grandson who's 8 months.
was wondering if my old school muckers were still around in the village, or very near by?
my maiden name was Barbara Clarkson, I lived down Deep Lane in Clayton with my mum Ivy and dad Robert, who was the verger of St. Johns Church. My brothers were Wilf, Chris and laurence.
I attended all the schools in Clayton untill going to Thornton Grammer School.
I was good friends with Susan Smith, Carol Pilkington, twinnies Carol & Christine Ross, Karen Farrell and Alan Simpkins.
do these names ring a bell??
would love to be in touch, everyone over here are having reunions, would love one in clayton, I've propbably missed them all knowing my luck!!
here's keeping my fingers crossed
love barb x
