My father Colin Joshua Cockcroft (name was later changed to Croft)was born in Clayton and lived at 9 Druids Street with his father Newman and mother Lilian. Lilian's maiden name was Hoyes and she lived with her family at 8 Brecks.
Newman's father was Joshua Cockcroft and I think Newman's mother was called Mary and 9 Druids Street was Joshua's house.
Does anyone know if Joshua and Mary Cockcroft had any other children?
Does anyone know these addresses?
Does anyone know anything about Cockcrofts or Hoyes in Clayton

Joshua's wife was probably Mary Sharp, born Clayton around 1856. There's a suitable marriage on the bmd index 1890 (1st qr) Bradford vol 9b p 90. Mary is on the 1881 census as a widow aged 25. I don't know her maiden name.
Incidentally, on some census return the name is spelt Cockroft.
It's unlikley Joshua & Mary had other children as she was 45 by the 1901 census and there were no other children with them. If you check out the 1911 census it will show on there how many children they'd had and how many were still living.
